Reneta D. Lansiquot
Professional Bio:
Dr. Reneta D. Lansiquot is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director of the Honors Scholars Program at New York City College of Technology of the City University of New York where she earned her first degrees: an AAS in Computer Information Systems and a BTech in Computer Systems. She has been a consultant for media and telecommunication companies, as well as for non-profit organizations based in Afghanistan and in the United States for several years. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Communication and Technology at New York University after completing her Master of Science in Integrated Digital Media at Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Her mixed-methodology research focuses on interdisciplinary studies. She has worked on several science, technology, engineering, and mathematics grants. Dr. Lansiquot has presented her educational research at numerous national and international conferences in Austria, Canada, Greece, Japan, and Portugal and has published peer-reviewed book chapters and journal articles on technical writing, game design, virtual reality, and problem solving across the curriculum. Her book is entitled Cases on Interdisciplinary Research Trends in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics: Studies on Urban Classrooms.
